MY JOURNEY

On my 27th birthday, I discovered that I was a survivor of child sexual abuse and living with complex PTSD.

Even though I had spent years engaged in somatic work, healing practices, and personal transformation, this revelation shook me to my core. Everything I thought I knew about myself and the world was upended; nothing felt certain anymore.

The following years were spent facing the unimaginable - through therapy, intensive men’s work, and grief work. I rebuilt a relationship with my body with Alexander Technique and the Feldenkrais Method. Over time, I reconnected with joy in my artistic practices: partner dancing, parkour, and piano.

But the most transformative part of my journey became building a relationship with the Divine. How could I trust myself, other people, or the universe after what I had experienced? How could life feel whole when I had seen such violence up close? For a long time, I carried deep bitterness and resentment.

I had no models for this. I grew up in a secular family; in a secular country. I would have called myself an atheist until college, where I began identifying as agnostic - mostly to navigate social life more easily.

Fortunately, the Divine has a way of meeting us where we are. For me, that came through VortexHealing® Divine Energy Healing*, which I had begun just before my repressed trauma surfaced. Through Vortexhealing®, I met an avatar named Merlin, who became my spiritual guide and bridge to the Divine.

Vortexhealing® not only set me on a spiritual path; but also gave me access to my most powerful tools for self-healing. The transmissions I received in classes allowed me to work directly on my trauma - and nothing I had learned in nearly a decade of personal growth compared. It was the most empowered I had ever felt.

While I remain deeply committed to my own healing, I now know it is possible to live a peaceful, fulfilling, and beautiful life - not in spite of trauma, not because of it, but alongside it.

In sessions, I primarily work with VortexHealing®, informed by my years in somatic and movement education, relational skills I’ve developed over the years, and my experiences as a teacher and coach. I am particularly fascinated by relational and power dynamics, and I constantly seek to expand my understanding of human behavior and the world around me.

I hope that my work can help you discover more agency, empowerment, and independence; bring new understandings to your emotional landscape; find a deeper center; and bring some levity and lightness into the dark.
